Tour Dates & COST

Tours available every THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY & SUNDAY

Begin your day by catching the 9:00am Macleay Island ferry from Weinam Creek Car  Park, Redland Bay Ferry Terminal. Enjoy a relaxing trip across the bay before arriving  at Macleay Island Ferry Terminal, where I’ll personally meet you.

From there, we’ll head to 8th Sense Kitchen to start our experience together before  setting off to explore and discover the island’s hidden gems.

Macleay Island — Alcheringa — where the sea whispers stories and the light dances  across the waters of Moreton Bay (Quandamooka Country).

We travel gently, in cool comfort, pausing where the land opens to sweeping horizons.  Across the shimmering bay, the silhouettes of North Stradbroke Island, Peel Island  and Coochiemudlo Island rise like ancient guardians of the sea.

We wander beneath paperbark trees — Oodgeroo — their soft trunks holding quiet  strength and stories of the women of Quandamooka. Here, the breeze carries salt and  memory. Here, the sky feels wider.

There are moments for photographs, moments for stillness, moments to simply  breathe it all in.

And then, overlooking the sparkling upper bay, we share a picnic — not just a meal,  but a pause in time. A chance to sit with the beauty, the culture, and the spirit of this  remarkable place.

Come walk the story of the island with Meg. ✨

I can't recommend Meg's Photographic Escape highly enough. She offers a creative, inspiring, and genuinely uplifting experience that showcases the very best of this beautiful part of Queensland. Meg's sharp attention to detail and passion for photography and the island were unmistakable as she led us on a captivating visual journey to hidden gems we would never have found on our own; pretty beaches, lush wetlands, heritage spots, and sandy coastal flats. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Thank you, Meg!
